Kiln fired glass with Ceramic or Metal
The works below (#2, #3 and #4) demonstrate the carefully manipulated interaction of glass with ceramic.
Small crushed glass or small glass pieces were fired to handmade glazed ceramic tiles. Work #1 (snake tiles) was made
entirely of kiln-fired glass. All four art works were then adhered to a hand-grouted ceramic tiled (commercial
tiles) board for display. Work #5 is Kiln fired glass on aluminum.
