ARTIST TECHNIQUE

No paints are used in the creation of each work of art and only the finest quality fusing glass is used--Bullseye art glass. Bullseye art glass is considered by many to be as fine an art glass as Tiffany art glass.  Each splash of color in the work is created either by separately hand cut pieces of glass and/or glass frit (fine crushed glass).  The wavy and/or straight lines in some of the works are created from spaghetti-like pieces of glass called glass "stringers" that are bent and melted into the final fused glass creation.  Fusing involves the process of slowing kiln firing the glass multiple times at high temperatures to give it depth and dimension.
